BIOGRAPHY - Kyle Atkins

AEA STAGE MANAGER

The motto that I have everyday is simple, have fun. Too often in show business we lose sight of how lucky we are to create.  My passion is to be involved with the creative process from the beginning to the final performance.  Professionally, my experience ranges from Off-Off Broadway to regional and summer stock theatre and the entertainment industry. My organization skills, dedication, focus and sense of humor are the trademarks that I pride myself on.


I graduated with a BFA in Theatre Studies from Niagara University (cum laude) where my training ranged from onstage to backstage.  After enrolling as a performance major, each production I worked on shifted my focus towards working as a stage manager. The variety of early experience I have received has prepared me for understanding every aspect that goes into creating a production. Working with and learning from colleagues in my field has helped me continually hone my craft and perfect my own process.


Based in New York City, this summer I am working as the stage manager for Carousel at the Summer Theatre of New Canaan in New Canaan, CT.
