Kyle Anderson Atkins

Abstract Artist. Nature Lover. Little Kid at Heart.

It all started with needing a hobby and an escape from the 9-5.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where I still reside and do my work. My studio is in my basement (laundry room), which is relatively big. The concrete floors are perfect for the paints that obey the laws of gravity, and the now paint stained laundry sink is perfect to clean up the 'mess'.

With two bachelors degrees under my belt and a full time job, I can honestly say this excites me more!

Art has no rules or protocols. I love the escape abstract art provides. It takes me from all the worries, troubles, and responsibilities of day to day life. When I paint, I paint. My process evolves as the paints run, dry and mix. I let the canvas decide what it wants to be...

Gustav Klimt, Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, and Picasso are among my influences.
